A seven race card and the first meeting at Ayr after the William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup meeting. Sponsored by Giles Insurance, long standing sponsors at the track this promises to be a great autumn afternoon's sport.
The main race of the afternoon is the Giles Insurance Handicap over one mile five furlongs with £12,000 in prizemoney.
